Many years ago, we had the chance to buy a Nutrifaster juicer at a “too good to pass up” price. These are large, heavy centrifugal juicers, intended for commercial use and not really suitable for home use. But they are the best machines in terms of how much juice they can extract from just about anything you can stuff down the feed chute. They also cost around $4,000. Fortunately, there are smaller versions that work the same way and are much easier to move around. These are “made in China” machines that are rebadged and sold by many different vendors. They can be had from Amazon, for example at prices ranging from $130-400. And yes, they exactly the same machines!
There many other types of juicers available and we have used several of them. In the long run, the centrifugal juicers, in our opinion, are the best way to go if you want the most efficent extraction.
Note: these machines have a spinning blade in the bottom. When you are feeding small items, like strawberries, they can hop around or splatter a bit when they hit the blade. So you will want to be ready to put your hand or a cloth over the feed chute as you drop the fruit or veggies in.
